What you'll do

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping our production and packaging equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. You troubleshoot technical faults, identify root causes, and carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance.

You actively look for opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency and contribute to technical projects, including the replacement of the machine park and further automation. You also support format changes, assist production teams with equipment operation, and supervise external technicians when required.

Accurate maintenance administration is an important part of the role, including recording working hours and material usage in Ultimo.

Your profile
An all-round technician, the broader the better! Preferably also with an electrical engineering background (mechanical engineers with experience in electrical installations are also very welcome!). The Duo Penotti team values the person behind the technician and their motivation to strengthen the team;Someone who is strong in analysing towards the root cause of problems;Experienced in working in a (food) manufacturing environment;Analytically strong: you don't stop at the symptom, but dig deeper to find the root cause of recurring faults;Interested in industrial automation and enjoy working with PLCs — you may even go on to develop PLC programming skills;Several years of experience in a production environment, preferably in food;Technical insight, solution-oriented, with a sharp eye for safety, order, and cleanliness;A team player who values short lines of communication and mutual support;Fluent in English, willing to learn Dutch in the future;Willing to work in either 5-shifts or in 3-shift system.

Duo Penotti ends up spread on tens of millions of sandwiches every year, whether it's the classic hazelnut-vanilla combination or one of the other well-known flavours. Behind every jar is a factory in Roosendaal that has to keep running 24/7.

As a Maintenance Technician, you're not just the person who fixes a fault and moves on to the next call. You think further ahead: "Why does this fault keep recurring on packaging lines 1 & 2? And where in the process does the problem actually originate?"

Often the root cause isn't the packaging line itself, but further upstream in the process. Your analytical skills and technical insight make the difference between firefighting and solving problems structurally.

Significant investment is being made in renewing the machine park and industrial automation (CAPEX), and as a technician you play a major role in this too — actively contributing ideas on changes and improvements to the machine park, working closely with engineers and machine operators.
